Concert dates for 2024 coming soon!

Alessandro’s concert program “Wiener Bonbons.” Vienna, my love! Viennese songs & the most beautiful melodies of operettas.

Alessandro spent 10 years in Vienna, where he lived and studied classical singing. Vienna became his second home.

He takes you on a musical journey through Viennese culture (the City of Music). From classical to modern music, Vienna’s stages offer something for every taste. In Vienna, music is in the air. The “Viennese Song” is an old, powerful, and very important song tradition. Alessandro is known for touching people’s hearts with his Viennese songs and interpretations—so much so that he occasionally moves his audience to tears. This recently happened again at a Viennese event. It was an incredible experience for him and the audience.

The Wiener Lied, or Weanaliad, is a song genre rooted in Vienna. Traditional Viennese songs, known as “Wienerlieder,” revolve around the theme of life in Vienna and are almost exclusively sung in the Viennese dialect. The Viennese song is a unique musical and socio-cultural phenomenon, a psychography of Viennese lifestyle; a blend of idealism, joy of life, and despair.

“Vienna and its Tradition”
“The Viennese coffeehouse is like a second living room, combined with music, life becomes magical!”

It’s a place where all sorts of people come together to discuss their daily affairs, contemplate their thoughts, share ideas, compose masterpieces, read, or simply sit quietly and observe what’s happening. “I used to spend hours in coffeehouses studying my repertoire and observing people, guests, and tourists,” says Alessandro. It’s an amazing institution full of history, emotions, and life, where poetry comes to life. Around 4 p.m., for example, at Café Central, a pianist starts playing, and singers are welcome to join. Music is everywhere in Vienna; that’s what makes it so unique. “The Viennese Song & Operetta mean a lot to me. With my teacher, Kammersängerin Ruthilde Boesch †, in Vienna, I worked on every single detail to perfect the interpretation. The Viennese dialect can be very tricky; we had fun times during the lessons.”

“Wiener Bonbons”

Alessandro will be accompanied by the piano or the Viennese Schmankerl Ensemble.
